NORFOLK, VA.  Vandeventer Black LLP is pleased to announce that partner Anne Bibeau has been elected President of the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management (HRSHRM).  The mission of HRSHRM is to engage, educate and empower professionals to be leaders in business and human resources through opportunities for lifelong learning, collaboration, and service.

HRSHRM has been in existence for more than 30 years. The organization provides local human resource professionals with the opportunity to exchange information in an atmosphere of mutual trust, respect and cooperation. There are more than 550 members from both the Southside and the Peninsula representing more than 300 companies in Hampton Roads.

Anne focuses her practice on labor and employment law, general litigation, and tax litigation. She represents clients before federal, bankruptcy, and state courts, arbitrators/mediators, and administrative agencies, including the EEOC and NLRB. She advises clients on sexual harassment, workplace investigations, the Family and Medical Leave Act, disability law, labor relations, and other labor and employment law matters.
