Vandeventer Black’s Franczek to serve on the American Arbitration Association, International Centre for Dispute Resolution

NORFOLK, VA.  Vandeventer Black LLP is pleased to announce that Partner, William E. Franczek has been appointed to serve on the panel for the American Arbitration Association, International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

Established in 1996 as the international division of the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (ICDR) is one of the most recognized and prominent providers of international dispute resolution services in the world. The Case Management Team is comprised of highly trained professionals from around the globe who, in addition to an in-depth understanding of ICDR International Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures, have a proven track record for moving matters forward, helping to control costs, and respecting cultural differences.

Bill serves as the Managing Partner of the law firm, and is located in the Firm’s Norfolk office.  Bill’s practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution, construction law, and public contract law.  His extensive background in the construction field includes highway projects, power plants, airports, and marine terminals.

Bill earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering at Syracuse University, an M.S. in Environmental Science at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Syracuse University. In addition to practicing law in Virginia and New York, Bill is a licensed professional engineer emeritus with hands-on field experience, enabling him to provide specialized services to his clients.
