Richmond, VA, January 27, 2014 – Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, announces Ben Sady, CIA, CISA, CRISC has joined the firm as a Director in the Richmond office.  Sady has over ten years of professional experience providing consulting and advisory to public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Sady will serve as the firm’s Risk Advisory Services Leader for the Virginia Region.

Sady helps businesses improve operations and reduce the risk of fraud, inefficiency, internal control failure, non-compliance with regulations, and IT process failures.  His advisory services experience includes: Business Process Improvement and Consulting, Internal Control Reviews, IT Audits, Internal Audits, Sarbanes-Oxley Assistance, Risk Assessments, SSAE16 / SOC Audits, Compliance Audits, and Vulnerability Assessments.

Sady has worked with both public and private businesses in the following industries: technology, financial institutions, insurance, healthcare services, professional services, governmental, utilities, manufacturing and distribution, transportation, retail, and non-for-profit industries. 

Sady holds the following professional certifications:  Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).

Prior to joining Dixon Hughes Goodman, Sady was a Senior Manager at Keiter with over five years previous experience as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte.  He is an active member of Rich Tech, Richmond’s Technology Council and regularly contributes thought leadership articles centered around risk advisory services.
