Richmond, VA, January 20, 2014 –  Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, announces Melinda Hancock has joined the firm as a Partner in the Richmond office.  With a strong legacy of healthcare industry leadership in Virginia, Hancock will join Dixon Hughes Goodman’s national healthcare practice, DHG Healthcare.

As a member of DHG Healthcare, Melinda Hancock will be responsible for developing the firm’s Healthcare practice next-generation financial modeling products and services related to a variety of revenue transformation “volume to value” business issues, including the transition from fee-for-service (FFS) to non-FFS payment models.   Prior to joining DHG Healthcare, Hancock was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Bon Secours Virginia Health System.  She was responsible for all financial functions for the Bon Secours seven hospital system in the Virginia market and system wide leadership for financial aspects of reform and clinical transformation efforts.  As an active member of the healthcare community, Hancock is a regular national speaker on healthcare transformation and is the current Secretary/Treasurer on the national Healthcare Financial Management Association Board of Directors.
