RICHMOND, VA — The Virginia Society of the American Institute of Architects is pleased to present its new Executive Vice President/CEO Helene Combs Dreiling, FAIA. Dreiling takes on this new role and continues as executive director of the Virginia Center for Architecture, a position which she has held since 2011.
The society also announces the following staff promotions and additions:
· VSAIA Deputy Director Rhea George comes to her new position with eight years’ experience directing VSAIA communications and outreach efforts and, in the last year served as managing director, interim magazine editor and interim education manager.
· VSAIA Communications Manager Cathy Guske comes to her new role with 10 years’ experience as the society’s sales administrator.
· VSAIA Membership Manager Shanelle Calvin comes to her new position with nine years’ experience as member services coordinator.
· VSAIA Office Manager Maura Mays comes to her new job following graduation from the University of Mary Washington.
“The society staff changes create a very strong team that I look forward to working with as we continue to develop responsive and innovative programs to enrich our member experience and elevate awareness of architects and architecture across Virginia,” says Dreiling.
