Vandeventer Black LLP hires local attorney and veteran to assist with complex litigation

Norfolk, VA. (November 24, 2015) – Vandeventer Black LLP has hired Nicole E. Upshur as a Litigation Case Administrator.  In this newly created position, she serves the firm’s Construction and Government Contracts Department. Her primary responsibility is to provide support to the department attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including e-discovery; document and case management; and, trial support.

Prior to joining Vandeventer Black LLP, Upshur had experience representing clients in all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts.

Upshur received her J.D. from Regent University, School of Law and, an Accreditation as an Attorney from the Department of Veteran Affairs. Her credentials also include CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, and certificates in Department of Army IASO Information Assurance Fundamentals and Department of Defense Cyber Awareness.

She served in the United States Marine Corps., from 1988-98, completing her active duty at the rank of Sergeant.
