Workshop: Building a Culture of Wellbeing

Building a Culture of Workplace Wellbeing
Tuesday, April 5 in Norfolk
Tuesday, May 3 in Richmond

Looking at the big picture, employee wellbeing goes far beyond physical health. It is about the quality of the most important parts of our lives – health, career satisfaction, social relationships, financial security and connections to the community. When these elements are in balance, people feel and perform their best. Research continues to show how addressing all areas of employee wellbeing improves employee health, engagement, and organizational performance. The new paradigms of wellness, anchored in strengths, not deficits, and driven by commitment to a better world and making meaningful and purposeful contributions at work, in life, and for the next generation, bring a new sense of energy to defining wellness.

Marsh & McLennan Agency Health Management Practice Leader Patti Rittling, PhD, CHES, IC® will facilitate an interactive workshop to discuss:

  • How to shift from traditional wellness programming to building a culture of employee and organizational wellbeing
  • How to identify and measure organizational wellbeing
  • The key metrics and resources that can be used to support wellbeing efforts

This program has been approved for 3.25 (HR (General)) recertification credit hours toward California, GPHR, PHRi, SPHRi, PHR and SPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
Workshops 8:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. include lunch. Presented by Marsh & McLennan Agency and the Virginia Business Coalition on Health. Non-VBCH members are welcome to join for a $50 registration fee.
