DHG Financial Services Welcomes Jeffrey Stephenson, CPA

Norfolk, Va., August 31, 2016 Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Stephenson, CPA, has joined the DHG Financial Services practice.  Based in Norfolk, Va., Stephenson is a senior manager with more than 14 years of public accounting experience providing professional audit and advisory services to clients in the financial services and consumer markets industries.

Stephenson advises and guides clients through public equity and debt-related offerings, compliance with SEC rules and regulations, and other technical accounting matters. In addition to providing external audit services, Stephenson has experience with internal controls over financial reporting, including FDICIA, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and various allowance models for banking financial services entities to assist with implementing new accounting and reporting standards.

Prior to joining DHG, Stephenson worked for a Big Four public accounting firm serving clients in the financial services and consumer markets industries.
