Tysons, Va, March 23, 2017 – Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Janice Kong has joined the firm as a Private Equity tax director. She will work out of the firm’s Tysons, Virginia office and will lead cross functional teams who execute tax due diligence and tax strategies for private equity groups and their portfolio companies. Janice will also provide tax structuring services for merger and acquisition clients, successor liability transaction analysis and tax classification analysis of target companies.

Janice brings more than 16 years of public accounting experience at Big Four and national accounting firms in addition to industry experience at national corporations. She is a frequent presenter for the private equity community and sat on a panel at the 2016 Kayo Women’s Private Equity Conference.

Janice earned her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in tax law from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in political science. Janice is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia State Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for Maryland and the U.S. Tax Court.
