Danville, Virginia – April 22, 2019 – VIRginia International Raceway welcomes back HyperFEST, the National Auto Sport Association’s annual motorsports festival presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, May 17-19. The action-packed weekend of fun for the whole family is now in its 18th year, and will feature road racing, drifting, karting, multiple live music performances and much more.

The three-day event schedule is action-packed, featuring the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge presented by Grassroots Motorsports as a highlight of the weekend. Additionally, visitors can try their hand at high performance driving during a 20-minute HyperDrive on the roller coaster-like Patriot Circuit.

New this year, there will be three stages of live music both Friday and Saturday. The music schedule is jam-packed with a lineup of great artists, many from Virginia, performing genres from dubstep to rock and everything in-between. The stages include a main stage, Impulse collective sound camp stage and Ebisu sound camp stage located throughout the property.
