September 3rd, 2019

Herndon, Va. (August 27, 2019) – On Friday, August 9th the NWFCU Foundation held its 10th annual Night of Magic celebration at Inova Children’s Hospital. The annual Night of Magic gives children receiving treatment at local hospitals, and their families, a chance to attend a celebratory event, including music, dancing, food and more. This year’s theme, “Frozen in Summer” was a fun opportunity for the patients to dress like snowmen and their favorite princesses. At the event, Northwest Federal Credit Union’s President and CEO, Jeff Bentley, and the NWFCU Foundation’s Executive Director, Kaycee Childress, presented a $10,000 donation to the Inova Cares Clinic for Children.

“We are honored to continue supporting Inova Cares Clinic in their mission to provide comprehensive pediatric medical services for children of low-income families,” said Childress. “The Night of Magic is a special event for the Foundation, and we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, special guests, and sponsors for making it memorable for attendees.”
