Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation Donates over 11,000 School Supplies

Herndon, Va. (September 18, 2019) – This year the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation collected over 11,000 school supplies and over $500 in monetary donations for its annual school supply drive. Supplies and funds benefitted Dogwood Elementary School in Reston, the AVID program at Sterling Middle School, the Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center and the INMED Opportunity Center in Sterling.

“The Foundation is proud to be an Ignite Partner with Fairfax County Public Schools, and a member of the Loudoun School-Business Partnership,” said Executive Director of the NWFCU Foundation, Kaycee Childress. “We thank the members and employees of Northwest Federal Credit Union, and the employees of our community partners Odin, Feldman & Pittleman P.C. and Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) for their generosity and giving spirit that helped so many young members of our communities.”
