JOHN FLORA NAMED TO VIRGINIA LAWYERS WEEKLY’S CLASS OF 2022 HALL OF FAME

John Flora was selected for the Virginia Lawyers Weekly “Hall of Fame” Class of 2022. The Hall of Fame award celebrates esteemed members of the legal profession who have reached the age of 60 or older and made lasting contributions to the legal field across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Criteria for selection include: career accomplishments, contributions to the profession, contributions to the development of the law, contributions to the bar and the Commonwealth, and efforts to increase access to justice. An awards ceremony will be held in Richmond in March to honor the 2022 Hall of Fame members.

John Flora has practiced law for 42 years representing business clients ranging from a publicly-held Fortune 500 company to small business owners and individuals. He focuses his practice on tax and business law, estate planning, and agricultural law, including farm succession. In all these areas, John brings to bear substantial technical expertise in federal and state taxation law, as in addition to his general law degree, John has an LL.M. in Taxation.
