The Falling Spring Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs, Virginia, has contributed to the playground fund at Boys Home of Virginia. The contribution was made after the church held a hymn sing on April 29. The event included musical performances, food, drink and fellowship. The annual event was a wonderful success.

Boys Home’s current playground has been in place since its installation in 1958, and funds are being raised to purchase new equipment. If you would like to learn more about the Boys Home Playground Project, please contact Elaine Brelsford at ebrelsford@boyshomeofva.org or (540) 965-7717. Boys Home staff and students are grateful for the support of the Falling Spring Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Boys Home of Virginia, founded in 1906, provides a healthy and supportive environment for young men whose lives have been negatively impacted by poverty or family instability.  Students are provided food, clothing, shelter, and guidance in a manner that supports the successful transition to adulthood along with educational and career opportunities.  Boys Home, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, is almost entirely privately funded by individuals, organizations, churches, and foundations.
