Ireland’s landscape and people will make for an unforgettable trip
[Danville, VA] – Ireland, a country of outstanding beauty and quirky charm is the destination for the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce on March 13, 2024, for a nine-day journey. The itinerary includes the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s favorite visitor experiences and tourist attractions. But the real joy of Ireland lies in the friendliness of the people, the warmth of their welcome, and the ease with which they make you feel at home.
The trip, available to members and non-members of the Chamber, includes stops in Dublin, Limerick, and Killarney. Among sites on the tour are the Muckrose House, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Wicklow National Park, Adare Village, Blarney Castle, Trinity College, and the Book of Kells. The trip combines natural wonders such as rugged coastlines complemented by cities with historic castles and fortresses.
Cost is $3,599 per person or book by August 31, 2023, and save $100. The trip includes round-trip airfare, seven nights in four-star hotels, 10 meals, sightseeing, taxes/fees, transfers, admissions, baggage handling, and a professional tour manager. The tour is arranged through CI Destinations, the Chamber’s travel partner since 2015.
