Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce ANNOUNCES DESTINATION FOR FALL 2024 TRAVEL

                                      Tuscany is the most popular region in Italy and offers visitors the best of all things Italian

 [Danville, VA] – Tuscany, a region in Italy famous for its world-class art collections, charming medieval hill towns, and sweeping hillsides full of vineyards is the destination for the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce on October 15, 2024, for a nine-day journey. This popular destination is where you want to go if you want to stand in a room full of Botticelli paintings or gaze upon Michelangelo’s “David.” This region will provide a beautiful backdrop for the perfect Tuscan holiday.

The trip, available to members and non-members of the Chamber, includes stops in Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, and Montecatini. Travelers will experience sites such as the Gates of Paradise, Piazza del Signoria, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Field of Miracles, Piazza del Campo, and a wine tasting in the Italian wine country of Chianti.

The cost is $3,599 per person for double occupancy. The cost for single occupancy is an additional $650. There is also an optional 3-day extension to Rome for an additional fee of $599 per person.

The trip includes round-trip airfare, seven nights in first class hotels, 10 meals, sightseeing, taxes/fees, transfers, admissions, baggage handling, and a professional tour manager.  The tour is arranged through CI Destinations, the Chamber’s travel partner since 2015.
