Two former chief financial officers and an award-winning television journalist join nonprofit private college’s Council staff
RICHMOND, VA – August 9, 2024 – The Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia, Inc. (CICV) continues to invest in top-tier talent to enhance our member services and better support Virginia’s Private Colleges. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed three outstanding professionals to our team:
Luther Griffith – MEP Executive Director: Luther brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Vice President for Finance, Operations, and Auxiliaries Enterprises at Sweet Briar College. He will lead our 18-institution Multiple Employer Plan with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
Barb Hatcher – MEP Administrator and Controller: Joining us in September 2023, Barb comes with extensive expertise in finance and project management, having most recently served as Vice President for Business and Finance at Ferrum College.
Liz Bryant – Manager of Conference, Meeting & Strategic Business Program Operations: Liz, who joined CICV in 2023, is an award-winning television journalist with over thirty years of experience. She will coordinate meetings, conferences, and support our Strategic Business Partner program, ensuring smooth operations and enhanced member engagement.
These new additions to the CICV team underscore our commitment to providing exceptional support and services to Virginia’s private colleges. We’re thrilled to have Luther, Barb, and Liz on board as we continue to strengthen our organization and the value we deliver to our members.
