2025 Healthcare Conference Gathered Leaders to Shape Virginia’s Health Future
RICHMOND, VA – Yesterday, the Virginia Chamber Foundation, in partnership with the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA), hosted the 15th Annual Virginia Healthcare Conference at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This year’s event, themed “Creating a Blueprint for the Future of Virginia’s Health,” brought together healthcare professionals, business leaders, and policymakers from across the Commonwealth to address the most critical issues facing Virginia’s healthcare system.
Around 400 attendees listened to panel discussions featuring leading voices in healthcare innovation, public policy, and employer strategies. Topics included the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, as well as how businesses can take the lead on addressing key workforce needs such as child care, elder care, and employee well-being.
Major companies from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, The American Cancer Society, Novo Nordisk, and Genentech were also in attendance. VCU Health shared their recent announcement of their proposal to build the first VCU Health hospital in Chesterfield County continuing to advance healthcare access in the region.
“Gatherings like yesterday’s conference, where we discussed new and changing health priorities, create better opportunities to serve communities throughout our Commonwealth,” said Virginia Chamber President and CEO Cathie J. Vick. “Healthcare remains a top priority in Blueprint Virginia 2035, and we’re focused on delivering today’s innovative solutions across healthcare, business, and policy to build a healthier, more resilient Virginia.”
The Virginia Healthcare Conference continues to serve as a vital platform for shaping solutions that improve outcomes for all Virginians and strengthen the Commonwealth’s business climate.
