Estes Unveils New Trailer Wrap Honoring the American Cancer Society®
September 8th, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (August 11, 2025) – Estes Express Lines, the largest privately owned freight carrier in North America, is holding a ribbon cutting at its Richmond headquarters to unveil the company’s latest nonprofit-inspired trailer wrap, spotlighting the American Cancer Society.

The initiative is part of Open Heart, Open Road, Estes’ charitable giving program that uses the company’s nationwide fleet as a platform to amplify causes close to employees’ hearts. The selected nonprofits are those that receive the most support through Estes’ employee-directed giving campaign.

Estes contributes to the American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery program, which provides free transportation for patients traveling to and from cancer-related medical appointments. A volunteer from the program is attending the ribbon cutting.

“Reliable transportation is one of the most critical — and often overlooked — barriers to cancer care,” said Michele Couch, American Cancer Society Senior Executive Director, Virginia. “Through Estes’ support of our Road To Recovery program and this powerful trailer wrap, we’re not only helping patients get to lifesaving treatment — we’re also raising awareness nationwide. We are deeply grateful to the Estes team for their generosity, creativity and commitment to the cancer community.”

This is the fourth wrapped trailer to hit the roadways, following the American Diabetes Association, National Forest Foundation and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Additional wraps will spotlight:

  • Alzheimer’s Association
  • ASPCA
  • Special Olympics
  • Active Minds
  • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
  • Operation Homefront

“At Estes, we care deeply about people and the communities we serve,” said Webb Estes, president and COO. “Our trailers travel thousands of miles each day, and we’re proud to leverage that reach to highlight the important work of organizations like the American Cancer Society. The Road to Recovery is a natural fit — our business helps get freight where it needs to go, and its mission helps people get to the care they need.”

The wraps are scheduled to appear in various markets throughout the country, including Estes’ home market of Richmond, Virginia.
