The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, with the support of the Chesapeake Bay watershed business community, has launched Businesses for the Bay. This new and innovative membership association is welcoming New Members and Sponsors.
Businesses for the Bay provides businesses, both large and small, with a unique opportunity to network, to be recognized for environmental efforts, and to find opportunities for employee volunteerism. As a Businesses for the Bay Member, you will be recognized for your environmental efforts that are important to you, your customers, and the communities you serve.
David Gunnarson, Lockheed Martin, Senior Staff Environmental Engineer and Businesses for the Bay Steering Committee Member notes, “Businesses for the Bay provides us an opportunity to showcase our environmental practices, to demonstrate how they relate, and make a difference, for the Chesapeake Bay and to work with others to better the environment in which we live.”
