Norfolk, VA (October 26, 2016) – William “Bill” E. Franczek, a partner at Vandeventer Black LLP, was recently selected as a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators. Franczek was recognized by the Board of the College for his experience, best practices and contributions to the profession.
Established in 2001, the College of Commercial Arbitrators is a national organization of commercial arbitrators providing a meaningful contribution to the profession, the public and to the businesses and lawyers who depend on commercial arbitration as a primary means of dispute resolution.

His experience includes privately-owned projects; federal, state and local public projects, and hybrid developments such as public private partnership projects.
He has also served in leadership roles in many construction trade associations, including: ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, Associated General Contractors, Hampton Roads Builders and Contractors Exchange, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Design Build Institute of America.
He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National and International Construction Panel for arbitrators and mediators, from which he has served across the nation as a neutral in all types of construction disputes.
