EDINBURG, Va., February 7, 2018 — Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (NASDAQ: SHEN), a local provider of cable, internet and wireless services, has announced the launch of a next-generation TiVo product guaranteed to delight customers as they roam from their cable TV programming to over-the-top options like Netflix, YouTube and a whole host of other available apps.
With TiVo, customers can easily find video from broadcast TV, cable TV or streaming services and apps. Searches can be based on titles, actors, keywords and channels. The words “There’s nothing on TV” disappear from conversation with the assistance of TiVo. Shentel is offering two TiVo options: TiVo Gateway and TiVo Unison Player. Each service includes access to live TV and streaming services, while Gateway also includes full recording capability.
The TiVo box can be set up in one room, or viewers can get more players and have selected content move with them. Additionally, Shentel customers will be able to take their TiVo DVR recordings on the go with access to their favorite entertainment from their laptop, smartphone or tablet.
