Richmond, Va., June 26, 2019 – Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, announced that Brian Burns has been admitted as Partner effective June 1, 2019. Brian leads a team of three consultants and one manager in the DHG Forensics and Valuation practice in Virginia and serves clients across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Overall, the DHG Forensics and Valuation practice has 40 professionals serving clients nationwide.

Brian has been leading the DHG Forensics and Valuation practice in Virginia for more than five years. Prior to being admitted as partner, he was a Director at DHG. Brian practices in the areas of valuation and forensic accounting, including financial investigations and litigation support and consulting services. He has been designated as an expert witness and qualified to testify by report, deposition and/or trial testimony in various venues in commercial and domestic matters.

In addition to being licensed as a CPA, he holds four certifications – Accredited in Business Valuation, Accredited Senior Appraiser, Certified in Financial Forensics and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics. In 2018, Brian and his team helped DHG and his practice achieve the Best Accounting firm and Best Forensics Accounting firm recognitions from Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
