ARLINGTON, VA – Tracy Hale Clark, Executive Director of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce, was selected as the Chamber Executive of the Year by the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE) at their Awards Dinner held August 24 in Arlington.
The Chamber Executive of the Year award recognizes outstanding performance in the field of Chamber of Commerce management in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is presented to an individual who has exhibited characteristics that make him or her a leader both in their chamber and community. Outstanding achievements; effectiveness in addressing challenges; professionalism; program development and implementation; fiscal management; stature in the community; and other special qualities are considered in the nomination process.
“Tracy’s ability to bring people together and sustain collaboration is remarkable. Under her guidance, the chamber has become a vibrant and inclusive platform that encourages networking, knowledge sharing, and support among our members,” states Bo Bundrick, 2022-2023 Board Chair. “Her ability to build bridges and cultivate relationships is undoubtedly a key to our success.”
Clark was named the Executive Director of the Louisa County Chamber in February 2019. She has over 30 years of marketing experience and expertise in generating revenue for the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She has been instrumental in driving the accomplishments of the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce which includes the creation of the Louisa Forward Foundation, a 501©3 compliment to support chamber initiatives. Under her leadership, these organizations have forged impactful partnerships and achieved notable milestones, reinvigorating Louisa County’s business landscape and economy. She has increased the Chamber’s membership significantly and nearly doubled the annual budget through enhanced programming and grants. Clark’s dedication to nurturing local heritage and economy was demonstrated through local and regional collaborations, revitalization efforts, and leadership programs.

Clark has served on the VACCE Board of Directors for two years and was recently elected to serve as Treasurer for 2023-2024.
VACCE is an alliance of Chamber of Commerce professionals from across the state working together to improve the business climate in Virginia while developing ways to enhance the quality of life in the communities they serve. VACCE is the only organization in the state dedicated to the growth and development of Chamber professionals.
