Maryann Crowder joined the Virginia Chamber staff in 1986 and served in several leadership positions until her retirement in January 2017 from her position as Vice President of Local Chamber Relations.  In the spring of 2018, she retired from her position as Executive Director of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE) and currently serves in a part time role as Board Relations Consultant and Local Chamber Liaison.

Before joining the Chamber, Maryann worked in the International Trade Department of the Division of Industrial Development (now called the Virginia Economic Development Partnership).  She is a graduate of Chowan College in Murfreesboro, NC.

Maryann is married, has two grown daughters and resides in Henrico County.
