The Virginia Chamber Foundation is pleased to formally release the dates and open registration for the Blueprint Virginia 2030 Regional Tour.
Those who register will be invited to participate in the Blueprint Virginia 2030 Regional Tour survey. As part of the Blueprint Virginia 2030 development process, the Virginia Chamber Foundation has announced it will host a series of virtual meetings throughout Virginia, in partnership with its network of local, regional, and other chambers of commerce; and GO Virginia and VEDA. These meetings will serve to foster greater regional collaboration by bringing together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other community representatives from across the Commonwealth to provide input for Virginia’s next statewide strategic plan.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from Barry DuVal for an economic update and overview of the Blueprint Virginia 2030 process. Participants will also hear from representatives of GO Virginia and VEDA for a regional presentation. The initial results for the Regional Tour survey will be reviewed during each meeting. Most importantly, participants will have the opportunity to participate in an open dialogue to discuss policy recommendations for the final plan.

Additional Information on Blueprint Virginia 2030
In 2013 and 2017, the Virginia Chamber produced Blueprint Virginia and Blueprint Virginia 2025: A Business Plan for the Commonwealth. The goal of Blueprint Virginia was to create a long-term statewide economic development plan that would transcend gubernatorial terms and reflect the consensus of Virginia’s business community. As Virginians prepare to elect a new Governor in November, we believe that the time is right to update Blueprint Virginia and set even more ambitious policy goals to achieve long-term economic growth. We must be pro-active and remain vigilant as our Commonwealth works to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the next year, we will call upon Virginia’s regional leaders and industry experts to analyze state and regional economies and identify specific economic drivers.
We encourage all business, economic development, and workforce and education leaders to participate in the Blueprint Virginia 2030 Regional Tour.
