Digital Transformation in Healthcare Part 1: How AI is Transforming Healthcare Delivery
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a future promise—it’s a present force reshaping how patient care is delivered throughout the healthcare industry. From enhancing diagnostic accuracy and predicting patient risks to automating administrative work and optimizing clinical operations, AI is revolutionizing the way providers care for patients.

This panel brings together Virginia’s healthcare innovators, clinicians, and business leaders to explore the practical applications and real-world impact of AI across the patient care landscape.

Stronger Families, Stronger Workforce: How Businesses Can Lead on Child Care, Elder Care, and Employee Well-Being
Access to affordable, high-quality child and elder care is a cornerstone of workforce stability, employee well-being, and overall economic growth. Without reliable care options, working parents and caregivers face increased stress, absenteeism, and even job loss—challenges that directly affect business productivity and employee retention. This panel will explore how comprehensive care for both children and aging adults plays a crucial role in supporting families, improving workforce health, and driving business success.

Industry leaders and experts will discuss the unique challenges facing working families, including those related to child care and elder care. They will examine innovative employer-led solutions, public-private partnerships, and policy initiatives that not only address these needs but also strengthen Virginia’s economy. From ensuring better work-life balance to fostering inclusive and supportive environments for employees, this conversation will highlight the vital connection between care systems, workforce stability, and economic growth.

By addressing these intertwined issues, this panel will shed light on actionable solutions that support working families, businesses, and the community at large.

This panel welcomes Virginia’s healthcare technology leaders to discuss issues in patient data, digital analytics, and the legal ramifications of these rapidly changing innovations. The healthcare industry is at the forefront of this evolution, designing scalable solutions, reimagining legacy systems, and enabling seamless data flow across care environments. As the digital footprint expands, ensuring robust cybersecurity remains essential to protect patient data and maintain trust in the digital health ecosystem.
