Organizations from across the state participate in a two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Virginia. First, each nominated company is evaluated based on its workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. Then, employees are surveyed to measure their employee experience. The combined scores determine the top organizations and the final rankings. Best Companies Group manages the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determines the final rankings.

The Best Places to Work in Virginia list is made up of a total of 80 companies. This distinguished award identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Virginia, benefiting the state’s economy, its work force and businesses.
