VA Chamber Expresses Support for Law Enforcement Access to Data Stored Abroad Act (LEADS Act)
As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, more and more information is stored in cloud services by major corporations. The laws currently governing online communications were enacted nearly 30 years ago, a time when no one knew how much information would exist or be stored online. The LEADS Act updates the privacy laws that currently govern electronic communications.
