Governor, energy companies say they want more lenient clean power plan (RTD)

Energy executives lined up Tuesday to slam a plan by the Environmental Protection Agency to sharply cut carbon dioxide emissions.
The EPA’s proposed Clean Power Plan would force Virginia to cut its carbon dioxide emissions by 38 percent by 2030. Much of the reduction in emissions would need to happen by 2020, when the EPA would start tracking the states’ performance. Click Here for Article
