Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman congratulates Scott Fisher, who has been named Partner effective January 1, 2017.

Scott is a native of Richmond, Virginia.  He joined Harman Claytor in December 2010 and focuses his practice on defending local government entities and their employees against civil rights claims asserting constitutional violations and claims under federal law.  Scott also has experience handling discrimination actions under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Fair Housing Act.  Additionally, Scott defends claims involving defamation, malicious prosecution, intentional torts, and negligence, including claims involving premises liability, negligent hiring and retention, and general negligence.
