Earlier this year, I announced that the Virginia Chamber of Commerce would be postponing our spring signature event schedule to ensure the health and safety of our citizens. While we continue to carefully monitor the ongoing pandemic and its impact on our Commonwealth and country, the Virginia Chamber team has developed a strategy that will balance the risks that large in-person conferences pose, while still furthering the vital policy discussion and engagement opportunities associated with our signature events schedule. Today, I am announcing that the 2020 Virginia Veterans & Military Affairs Conference and the 2020 Virginia Conference on Energy Diversity & Corporate Sustainability will both be held as virtual conferences.

Registration information and programming details for these signature events will be available in the coming weeks and I look forward to your participation, as we transition them to a virtual platform. Below you will find the full 2020 signature event schedule for the Virginia Chamber and it is my hope that you will continue to hold these dates on your calendar. The chamber plans to make a final decision on the format of our October events in July and will announce details regarding those events in our next Chamber Briefings.
