EDINBURG, VA– September 20, 2016 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (SHEN), local provider of cable, internet and wireless services, announced today that the company will be providing  support for the Vice Presidential debate on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, hosted at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.

The company is providing a 10 gigabit fiber optic internet connection to support debate communications and internet access during the event. Shentel is also expanding current video outlets and associated services to multiple locations at Longwood University in order to provide video services for viewing parties across campus and the Farmville Virginia community.
