Virginia is Nuclear Summit

The Virginia Nuclear Energy Consortium (VNEC) and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) invite you to join us for the Virginia is Nuclear Summit on August 23rd from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The event will be held at Reston Overlook Building Two, 12021 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 20190 on the first floor in conference room #102 (behind the guard desk).

The Virginia is Nuclear Summit will bring together educators, appointed and elected officials from around the state, nuclear industry employees, and companies to discuss the state of the Commonwealth’s nuclear industry and opportunities for future innovation in nuclear power, defenses and research.

The summit will focus on workforce, infrastructure, and research & development as drivers of Virginia’s nuclear success story.  We will also explore opportunities for developing next generation nuclear technologies in the fields of energy, medicine, defense, and academic research.
