MI Technical Solutions, Inc. (MITS) is a global IT and engineering company that delivers leading-edge technical solutions to government and private sector customers. The MITS Research and Development team creates solutions that address public health, safety, and security. In addition, MITS is applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to an innovative solution that addresses the next generation of network administration.

MI Technical Solutions internship program is an opportunity for students and new graduates to gain work experience in a professional setting. Interns work under the supervision of a mentor in a variety of departments, learning a range of occupations and careers within the company. These opportunities give students a chance to use a “business classroom” to connect with what is being taught at school, to add value to the educational experience, and to showcase the vast number of options available to students.

Each student will be provided with a work-site plan. This plan will include what the student is expected to do on the job, and the assignments he or she must perform in order to meet educational expectations. Students will learn about modern business practices, teamwork, job specific skills, appropriate business behavior and dress, safety practices, and ethics. They will also be exposed to various aspects of the business, through hands-on experience and observation.
