Over this year, the Virginia Chamber has conducted a regional tour across Virginia, gathering input through statewide, regional, and industry-specific surveys, and hosted numerous Industry Council meetings and signature events. This process has engaged stakeholders from key sectors including economic development, education, workforce, housing, healthcare, and innovation.
Through the end of the year, the Virginia Chamber will continue these efforts by convening additional Industry Council meetings and signature events to ensure that Blueprint Virginia 2035 reflects the voices and priorities of the Commonwealth’s business community and supports long-term economic success for all Virginians.
As with previous iterations of Blueprint, the final Blueprint Virginia 2035 will be presented to the Governor-elect at the 2025 Virginia Economic Summit and Forum on International Trade. The Virginia Chamber will then work in close partnership with the incoming Administration, members of the General Assembly, and our stakeholders to implement the recommendations through public policy, initiatives and programs.
Statewide Survey:
The Virginia Chamber Foundation launched a statewide survey to gather input for Blueprint Virginia 2035. To ensure broad representation, the Foundation invited leaders from the business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other key sectors across the Commonwealth to participate in the statewide survey, which will help shape the future of Virginia’s business community.
This survey is a critical tool in shaping the future of Virginia’s economy. Input from the business community and stakeholders throughout the Commonwealth will help ensure that Blueprint Virginia 2035 reflects diverse perspectives and regional priorities.
The statewide survey is now closed and input is under review. Thank you to those who participated!
Regional Tour:
Citizens in all corners of the Commonwealth were also encouraged to participate in the Blueprint Virginia 2035 Regional Tour, a key opportunity to engage in shaping Virginia’s economic future. The Virginia Chamber delivered exclusive economic updates, offering valuable insights into statewide trends, as well as region-specific developments. Most importantly, attendees had the opportunity to engage in open discussions and contribute policy recommendations for Blueprint Virginia 2035.
This Regional Tour has now concluded. Thank you to those who participated!
